The Foundation for Sustainable Social Economic Development (FOSED) catalyses positive societal change in Tanzania, officially established in 2022 under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act of 2002. With a commitment to social equity, economic empowerment, and environmental sustainability, FOSED actively engages in tangible initiatives and partnerships, embracing inclusive development practices and garnering support from various stakeholders.
FOSED operates with transparency, accountability, and ethical governance, guided by visionary leadership. Its multifaceted approach includes capacity-building, community empowerment, and environmentally friendly practices, with a steadfast dedication to shaping a brighter, sustainable future for all Tanzanians.

The purposes of our organisation

To advance development solutions that promote socio-economic empowerment and ensure meaningful participation of the communities, including children.
